Location
Tropic of Cancer Beach, also known as Pelican Beach, is one of the liveliest on the island and one of the most famous beaches in the world. A favourite of tourists and locals alike. It is the longest beach in Exuma boasting crystal white sand and clear turquoise waters. It is home to the Tropic of Cancer parallel of latitude and the Villa's namesake that is 23 degrees north of the equator. It is where the sun appears directly overhead during the summer solstice (around June 21st). Beyond the beach is Turtle island, which gets its name because of its turtle like shape. Enjoy a short kayak or paddle board with one of the many premium boats provided.
